Digital is riding a disruptive change in education and learning. Learning is now not restricted to only physical institutions and so are the learning resources and libraries. One of the biggest challenges that an emerging and young country like India faces is Educating, Skilling and Increasing the per capita income of our population.

Mintbook was conceptualized in 2013 to break all barriers and bring learning resources (eBooks, eJournals, Course materials / instructional videos, quiz, discussion forum, query corner, etc) to the finger-tips of the learners. Mintbook is an innovative and novel idea of owning a personalized digital library for learning

Mintbook Digital Library is a knowledge transmission grid that connects authentic learning content from reputed publishers to learners / knowledge seekers at an affordable price. To enable this, Mintbook has built:

• a proprietary knowledge platform with proprietary Digital Rights Management (DRM) for security and encryption of copyrighted publisher content and is rendered in proprietary e-Reader and Player;
• a repository of 1million+ knowledge content in the form of eBooks, e-Journals, Videos, Quiz, Simulations in English, Hindi and 10 regional languages.
• learning tools such as annotations, text to speech, dictionary, study planners and personalized content;
• gamification – coins / badges and leaderboards;
• IoT device (Offline digital library MBOX) – a patent applied device to facilitate learning in under connected segments;
• a complimenting learning management platform for institutions; and
• Social learning forums

Mintbook’s journey so far has been remarkable. The company was recognized as an Innovative solution by Indo-USSTF and presented in TiE-Silicon Valley, California, USA in 2014. In 2015, won Smart Cities Award in Smart Cities India Expo, New Delhi. Mintbook’s product MBOX, is a solution to providing eLearning in areas that have low / no internet connectivity. In 2016, MBOX was recognized as Top 10 IOT products in IOT India Congress and in 2018, MBOX entered the elite NASSCOM EMERGE 50 Innovations. Mintbook was part of Walmart COHORT 3.0, Edupreneur 1.0 top 3, Amrita incubation and Pitchfest Winner in 2019. Recently Mintbook was recognized with the Emerging Star Award from the prestigious Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

Mintbook was also recognized as Startup of the Year (Technology) by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology & NASSCOM, New Delhi received in 2019. Mintbook Digital Library is validated and approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) for their accredited Engineering Universities.
