MR. ARJUN RAJAGOPAL

Arjun Rajgopal is a corporate lawyer and trained mediator and is a founding partner and the head of South India at Saraf and Partners, a national full-service law firm. He has close to two decades of experience in domestic and multi-jurisdictional transactions, amongst other aspects of law. He has advised on marquee M&A, investment and joint venture transactions across various sectors, including e-commerce, shipping, railways, retail, power generation, renewable energy, banking and commercial lending (including NBFCs), IT/ITES, TMT, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, consumer electronics, education, automotive parts, aircraft MRO, warehousing and cold-chain logistics, alcoholic beverages, private security, online gaming and consulting services. He has experience in representing clients on all sides of the table, including investors, entrepreneurs, acquirers and sellers. He also has extensive experience in advising companies on operational matters in areas of regulatory complexity. He has advised clients on numerous strategy-oriented matters, such as confidential board and shareholder level disputes, white-collar crime, pre-litigation strategy, litigation settlements, data privacy and other matters. He is a graduate of NLSIU and has worked with Nishith Desai Associates, Khaitan & Co and Luthra & Luthra Law Offices in the past, amongst other organisations.
