Dr. Alexander Muir

Customer Experience & Human Centred Design Leader

Alexander has led customer-centric research across major industry and academic projects, ranging from Microsoft's Connected Car and IoT team, to tablet-based training for low literacy women through Amrita's AMMACHI Labs. Recently the Principal CX Researcher for the Startup Incubator at the major UK brand John Lewis - Waitrose, his work focuses on creating a deep understanding of customer needs, turning these into product ideas, and maintaining a fruitful conversation with the market to guide teams to find Product Market Fit.

He created the Human Centred Design program at Amrita University, supports the research practice at Live-in-Labs (R) and teaches Amrita University's graduate course: Innovating in Technology. He is honoured to be part of the Amrita family.
