LAB ASSISTANT – MECHANICAL (Application Closed)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
01) Works closely with students and startups to design and build prototype/products.
02) Technical knowledge of engineering documents including engineering CAD drawings, parts lists, and bills of material.
03) Operate basic hand tools and lab equipment.
04) Assist lab technicians in conducting workshops/ training.
05) Operate machines to fabricate parts or tools by turning, boring, milling, grinding or drilling metal stock plastic or wood components.
06) Set up and/or operate hand and machine tools such as laser cutting machines, Drilling machines and CNC mini-mills.
07) Maintenance and upkeep of all equipment in the lab.
08) Clean and maintain work area and all lab equipment and supplies.
09) Check dimensional accuracy and quality of finished parts, tools or sub-assemblies.
QUALIFICATIONS
01) ITI / Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Tool & Die.
02) Previous Lab or Industry experience preferred.
