The competition followed a structured selection process, beginning with registrations through the VIDYUT website. Participating teams were required to submit a startup model deck and a video pitch outlining their problem statement, proposed solution, value proposition, and potential market impact. These submissions enabled participants to refine their ideas and communicate them effectively before progressing to the live pitching stage.
A total of 10 teams participated in the challenge and presented their startup concepts during the live pitching session. The presentations were evaluated by experts from Amrita TBI, who provided constructive feedback on various aspects of the business models, including innovation, scalability, market potential, and execution strategy. The interaction between participants and evaluators offered valuable learning opportunities and helped students better understand the expectations of investors, incubators, and startup support organizations.
The event served as an important platform for identifying promising student-led innovations and connecting young entrepreneurs with mentorship and incubation opportunities. It also encouraged participants to strengthen their entrepreneurial mindset and explore pathways for transforming their ideas into impactful ventures.
