IP is of no value to a company or an individual without proper commercialization. It is required to harness the potential of IP to enlist it as an intangible asset in the balance sheet of a company. The government of India has also extended support systems to cultivate innovation for a self-reliant India and has taken initiatives for upgrading its IP infrastructure.
